Chef Fábio Bernardino and Sidra Alfa
On international apple day, Chef Fábio Bernardino and Sidra Alfa together in a recipe.
The Chef accepted our challenge and created a special recipe to celebrate this day.
The pork recipe, which in addition to integrating the apple, also included Alfa cider.

Ingredients:
- 300g pork loin;
- 200g of potatoes;
- 8 apples to taste;
- chili pepper (optional);
- 50 g of peanuts;
- 1 French garlic;
- 1 tablespoon olive oil;
- 1 spoon of honey;
- 1 onion;
- 10 g basil;
- 200ml alfa cider;
- 1 lemon;
- 4 garlic cloves
PREPARATION METHOD:
- Start by seasoning the meat with pepper, cider, lemon, garlic and chilli
- Cut the potato and apple into cubes. Place on a plate and season with pepper, garlic, cider, basil, olive oil and bake at 200ºC for about 30 minutes. Roast the peanuts in the skillet and set aside.
- With the remaining apple cut into strips and sauté in the pan to caramelize. Add a little lemon juice. Add the onion and leek. With a touch of olive oil add the meat in strips and sauté everything.
- Add peanuts and honey. Let it all sort out.
- Serve the meat with potatoes and roasted apples, accompanied by a very cold Sidra Alfa.
